should people post pictures of their babies online

it's kind of weird how many baby pictures are just floating around the internet. babies can't approve of that. it's just not fair.

i love

*my room. i love it because i sometimes pretend it is a boat or a treehouse. right now i'm just sitting in bed, having breakfast(coffee and oatmeal), and watching the snow fall.

*my long sleeved camo shirt. it is large, and it has a pocket. those are two reasons enough to love it, but i also love it because it is my brother's.

things that men miss out on

yesterday was all about cleaning the house to get ready for our roommate lauren's lingerie shower. then i realized i didn't have a gift for her so i went to dillard's. after debating for about 20 minutes what to buy for her, i made my way to the cashier on the old lady/big gir(plus size)l side of the sleep department. over in that section it's a maze of fuzzy fabrics and faded florals. old lady in her foofy fur was buying 300 dollars worth of items. after she checked out i went to the front of the line, and the lady checking me out revealed that the woman comes once a year. she spends the entire day in the lingerie/sleepwear section and shops until she finds the items exactly to her liking.

that was a story about dedication.

another story of dedication:
awkward roommate katie bought high-heeled brown boots during christmas, and now she wears them every day. i don't understand. she never wore heels before. do her feet not hurt? did she find magical powers that finally allow her wear heels? or is it dedication?
it's got to be dedication.

today is the day i have to decide: do i dedicate my winter workouts to the y? or do i brave the cold and show some dedication by committing to working out outdoors? it's decision time 09.

can it please stop raining? please?

i've been weighing my options when it comes to leaving the ymca

or not leaving the ymca.

things i would miss:
watching a free movie while working out at the cardio cinema/free weights in the dark,
stark naked asian woman trying to be demure while covering up with one hand,
the man who looks like a lion at green hills,
people watching,
watching person after person try to operate a machine that is out of order,
warmth while working out,
fitness,
comradery,
fresh towels,
etc.


things i won't miss:
smelling fresh baked subs while working out,
awkward people having conversations right in front of your machine,
gross locker room nudity,
can't think of anything else



sooooooooooo sad. think i'm gonna go to hula hoop classes in february though.
